About me

About

I have a post graduate diploma (PGDip) in counselling from the University of Brighton. I’ve run community projects in Lambeth and Brighton, for people with learning disabilities & mental health challenges, as well as managing an independent living scheme for disabled people. I was a journalist for many years, conducting interviews with people from all sections of the community. I was editor of Viva Lewes magazine. I love Lewes and the downs. I currently work for Sussex Wildlife Trust. I sing in a local choir and swim in the Pells Pool.

Why it matters

I am committed to helping to create the best possible funeral or memorial service that both respectfully honours the dead and supports the living.

Letting go

‘Life is a balance between holding on and letting go.’ Rumi

A memorial or funeral service, done with care, thoughtfulness and sensitivity, can help those left behind with the life they face with the person they loved no longer being with them.
